Bowkett cottage is a wonderful find in the Forest of Dean. Our party was 5 adults and 2 small children and there was plenty of space for us all to move around and be comfortable.The kitchen was well stocked with almost everything that you could want and a modern layout that made cooking meals a breeze.Three very comfortable bedrooms, again all you good ask for.Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay/explore this part of the country. So much to see and do round the Forest and South Wales.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were all of a size to accommodate 6 adults comfortably. Everything was clean and working, including the wifi and tv. Games cupboard was great fun. Plenty of pots and pans to cook a big meal for our whole family. The location made it perfect for countryside strolls and a friendly pub around the corner.We would love to be able to come again! The cottage was spacious and very well equipped with a good sized, south facing and private garden. Luke let us know that the cottage was ready and available to us ahead of the scheduled check in time and communicated promptly and politely when needed. Everyone that we met locally were really friendly and welcoming and the Forest of Dean and surrounding countryside was spectacular.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bowkett Cottage! The cottage has been extended and renovated to a high standard. It is clean, and has great outdoor space and parking. It close to many local attractions in the Forest of Dean.

Lovely, spacious and clean property. ☺ Great find! Friendly hosts. Easy check in. Well equipped kitchen, convenient location for exploring nearby tourist attractions. Lots of parking. Great secure garden (will be gorgeous in the spring and summer). Beds are comfy. Lots of cupboard space and draws to use. If my partner had work in or around the area again we’d certainly stay again. We recommend the miners arms in Sling for food (host recommendation), fresh, home cooked, locally produced menu. ☹ NA

A wonderful family break. ☺ The accommodation exceeded my expectations. We had all that was required for our pre christmas mother, daughter, and grandchildren children get together. The christmas tree was a welcomed addition. The location was easily accessible with fab views of the countryside. All needed amenities within a mile to make our stay stress free. The owners live next door and were available for any issues if they were to arise. Free WiFi made communication with the outside world easier as our network coverage across 3 providers was inadequate. ☹ We loved everything once settled. However, I had not prepared for our arrival and had to walk back to the main road to get a phone signal to access my booking for check-in details. The owners were present sorting out my family as I returned 5 mins later. This is more a helpful tip.
